My experience within the arboricultural industry spans over a decade and combines extensive practical knowledge with professional arboricultural consultancy.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong technical understanding of tree management, tree risk, and the relationship between trees and the built environment, enabling me to provide balanced, evidence-based advice across a wide range of residential, commercial, and development projects.
Beginning my career within practical arboriculture, I progressed through a range of NPTC arboricultural certifications and gained extensive experience as a climbing arborist undertaking tree pruning, dismantling, aerial inspections, and tree management operations. My practical experience gives me a strong understanding of tree physiology, structural characteristics, site constraints, and the implementation of arboricultural recommendations in live-site environments.
My academic qualifications include a Foundation Degree in Arboriculture and Tree Management, alongside professional training and certification in tree inspection and risk assessment, including the Lantra Professional Tree Inspection (PTI) qualification and Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) training. I also hold Technical Membership of the Arboricultural Association, reflecting my commitment to professional standards, ongoing industry development, and best arboricultural practice.
